I had a blast using Havenly's design for our living room refresh. The process was so streamlined and totally stress-free. Here is what the process is like for those interested.
First, you sign up on their website and in order to get to know your taste and style, you’ll look through a series of different rooms, textures, and colors. Don’t know your style? That’s what this step is here for. You’ll look through many different types of rooms, colors, textures, and interiors and you’ll pick and choose what you like and dislike. What feels most like you is what this exercise is for really and for me personally I found out that I am a mix of minimal and mid-century modern.
Let’s get to know the different types of interiors shall we?
Scandinavian - Simple, clean lines, with a touch of handmade elements and plush fabrics.
Mid-Century Modern - Think Mad Men, remember that show? Sleek lines, darker wood, organic shapes, and a color palette of vintage earthy tones.
Glam - Mirrors, luxe fabrics, crystal, and high shine.
Boho - Earthy patterns, bolder colors, and lots of textures to create fun layers.
Minimal - Less is more. Clean, functional, and open spaces. Functionality is key.
Transitional - Classic meets contemporary. Clean lines meet modern elements for an elevated and functional space.
Rustic - Natural and raw elements, including earth tones, unfinished wood, and leather.

So what I did was measure the room with exact dimensions and quickly send those dimensions over to G. through the portal. What’s next? G. confirmed the dimensions and began designing my space. This took about 3 weeks, so be patient. A good thing to note is that your designer will create an initial concept based on the vision you outlined for your project. You will have time to rate and provide detailed feedback. Be sure to like and dislike the products your designer suggested, too. This information will only help your designer make your dream room a reality.
We went through 2 edits based on the renderings she created and honestly, she nailed it. With the dimensions given, your designer is able to pick furniture pieces that will fit into your space, taking the headache out of your guessing. It’s invaluable if you ask me because one thing I hate is hoping that an expensive piece of furniture may or may not fit and then we’d have to send it back. Such a hassle right? Not with Havenly.
Also, I would add that through the portal, messaging your designer is easy and swift. The communication between myself and G was seamless.
