Looking to make some adjustments in your mom life? What about cutting down on the coffee intake? I decided to and am so happy with my decision. I swapped over to Matcha and let me tell you, I stand by Matcha being better than coffee!
Tips for a Fast Makeup Routine
My biggest tip for a fast makeup routine is simple. Find quality products that have dual purpose.
For example, a tinted sunscreen mixed with your favorite foundation not only gives you extra coverage but it helps stretch the longevity of both products.
A blush or bronze stick can also be used on lips or eyelids to add cohesive color.
Here are a few other tips for a fast makeup routine:
Forget the full face of makeup and keep things light. A natural makeup look is so much easier to achieve!
Add a little color to your cheeks and lips to dress up your minimalistic makeup look.
Opt for light beauty products that don’t take much time to blend.
Glowy skin is always in. Opt for a smidge of highlight or a glowing tinted moisturizer to give your face a fresh, subtle glow.
Practice, practice, practice! You’ll master your quick makeup routine over time. Don’t stress if you are getting caught up on the steps at first. It’ll happen with time!
A small amount goes a long way. Always start light when doing a lighter makeup look and go from there.
Get the right products for yourself. For example, a foundation/tinted moisturizer that matches your skin tone flawlessly is ideal for a simple and light makeup routine that looks natural.
Go light around the eye area. It is so easy to overstep and make the eye area look heavy. Keep it light and use your fingertips to blend in any under-eye concealer or foundation.
Make the most of your easy steps. As I mentioned earlier, dual-purpose products are ideal. Do both things that the product can be used for at the same time!
Stick to a quick swipe of mascara and lip color. You don’t need to go heavy!
Stick to a small pop of color. Don’t overdo it. A light pop on the apples of your cheeks is all you need.
Limit the use of your brow product. Your everyday makeup routine is meant to keep things light. Don’t spend a ton of time overdoing the brows with your eyebrow pencil.
Forget the new beauty trends. Find what works for you and stick to it!
My Easy 5-Minute Makeup Routine
After cleansing and moisturizing (skincare products are essential here), mix a dab of foundation with a dime-size pump of tinted sunscreen. With these products below, I achieve a medium coverage that hides imperfections and hyperpigmentation. Light coverage is where it is at!
Brows. Just a quick swipe with this wand does amazing things. I do have microbladed brows, but this product is such a good (now not so secret weapon) to achieve a polished yet natural brow.
Adding a little color with a multi-stick gives life to a tired face. I sweep a little bronzer subtly on my cheeks and then dab across my eyelids for some natural color.
Mascara, just a quick sweep of your mascara wand to brighten up my eyes and that’s all I need. Natural no smudge, and it’s something I tend to do in the car if I’m really in a time crunch.
Lip color, either the same multi-stick or a little lip oil goes a long way for me and finishes off my natural fresh look
