Every year in LA, when the temperature drops below 70, everyone pulls out their chunky cardigan and Uggs to grab their triple shot venti PSLs while sitting in standstill traffic on the 405. I joke, but not really. I however am not a PSL type of human. I thoroughly believe that pumpkins should be left out of caffeinated drinks, but that’s just me.
Instead, I like to make this Pumpkin Pie Smoothie which I’ve perfected over the years. It’s super healthy and very easy to make for breakfast. Connor loves it, and so do I.

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie with Banana
Ingredients:
1 frozen banana
½ cup plain or vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tablespoon almond or pecan butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
pinch each of nutmeg, ginger & allspice

All you have to do for this easy pumpkin pie smoothie is throw all of the ingredients into your high powered blender and blend! Then pour it into your glass of choice and if you’re looking for a little extra sweetness, top with a dollop of whipped cream.
