How to Add More Greens to Your Diet: Tropical Non Dairy Smoothie

non dairy tropical smoothie in a glass jar
Looking for a quick and healthy way to increase your green intake? I make this non-dairy smoothie daily for myself and Connor. He loves it, and so do I. It’s a great way to get your greens in plus it doesn’t contain dairy which is a nice change. Here's what you'll need:

What You’ll Need

  • 1 cup of spinach. Baby kale is also a great alternative.
  • 1 cup of water or coconut water
  • 1/2 cup of frozen pineapple
  • 1/2 cup of frozen mango
  • 1/2 ripe banana
  • *optional, 1 tablespoon chia seeds

Instructions

Prepare in minutes with these simple steps:

  • In a blender, combine the spinach and water. Blend on high speed until the spinach is well pureed, and the mixture becomes smooth.
  • Add the frozen pineapple, frozen mango, and ripe banana to the blender. These tropical fruits not only enhance the flavor but also contribute to the smooth texture of the smoothie.
  • Blend all the ingredients together until you achieve a creamy consistency. If desired, adjust the thickness by adding a little more water to suit your taste preferences.

Benefits of the Tropical Non-Dairy Smoothie:
  • This smoothie is packed full of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. This green powerhouse promotes digestion, supports the immune system, and strengthens bones (kale especially aids in calcium absorption.)
  • Vitamins and Fiber: The combination of pineapple, mango, and banana in this recipe delivers a potent dose of essential vitamins and dietary fiber.
  • Stay Hydrated: With its high water content, this smoothie helps keep you hydrated, especially during warm weather or after a workout.

Like I said, Connor drinks this at least once a day if not more. I hope you and your family enjoy this recipe as much as we do!
